1. THE WEATHER

Almost all Brides worry that it will rain on the day!  Somewhere in our physche is a belief that a 'rainy' day is a 'miserable' day ... not true!  In fact every Wedding Photographer will tell you that this is the very best light to shoot in as its so soft and you will look beautiful in the wedding photos!

2. THE FAMILY

In today's world of multi faceted families, many couples really worry about whether their parent will come if they invite the other one, or whether their Dad will come and have a fight with their Mums new man!!  I can assure you that everyone in your world who loves you will put you first and accept willingly.  Once there, the magic overtakes past hatreds and ALMOST guarantees all will behave perfectly for your benefit!

3. THE VOWS

Are they right?  Do the words truly say what you feel?  Will you be able to remember them??  Couples spend a great deal of time agonising over their vows when in fact they should just sit down for a short time, close their eyes, remember the first time they ever saw their partner and how they felt - then write it down.  This is simple and true and all you need.  On the day all that matters is what you say with your eyes to each other, the words are simply back up.

4. THE DRESS

Almost EVERY Bride stresses about what they call 'the all important dress'!  The point is that their man is so totally overwhelmed with love as you stand at the top of the aisle that he doesn't even see the dress!!!!    So RELAX. Visualise the dress in your mind and take your time shopping. A tip - remember you will only sit on the way there and for a brief dinner so make certain you feel beautiful and comfortable standing around in it, DON'T buy something you will spend all night sucking your tummy in or worrying about the back view.

5. THE SHOES

For some strange reason this is extremely concerning ... yet 98% of dresses are full length and the only bit of the shoe you see is the toe tip!!!  The most VITAL element of the shoes is that they are COMFORTABLE.  You will stand in them for approximately 10 hours!!!!! 

6. THE CARS

A great deal of worry goes into the arrival at the ceremony in the right car, yet almost always the majority of guests are seated and NEVER SEE the car!  If you are going to another venue for the reception and the guests will see you both in the car then by all means get something nice but don't go overboard on the cost - its just driving you approximately 10 minutes down the road!

7. THE GUEST LIST

This is a source of great stress as both families seem to insist on inviting people the couple don't even know well!!  Stand firm and remind everyone that the only truly important part of the day is the ceremony and therefore the only guests should be those that know you both intimately enough to truly relate to and care about the ceremony.  All other 'related' family members can catch up with you both at another time.  Don't spend your money feeding huge numbers - save it for a gorgeous honeymoon or a new love haven.
